Thanks for all this advice. I've done some testing... • Either monitor will work individually at their highest resolution when plugged into the l/hand port. • When either monitor is plugged into the r/hand port on its own it displays 'out of range'. • When both monitors are plugged in they both display 'out of range'. • Whenever 'out of range' is displayed, it does not seem to be possible to use the mouse or keyboard to get information from either screen or to turn the blue borders red etc. • If I change to resolution on either monitor singly (say down to 800x 600) it does not seem to make any difference to any of the above. Wondering if the graphics card could have developed a fault? This is what the Get Info says about the card: NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT: Chipset Model: NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT Type: GPU Bus: PCIe Slot: Slot-1 PCIe Lane Width: x16 VRAM (Total): 32768 MB Vendor: NVIDIA (0x10de) Device ID: 0x0393 Revision ID: 0x00a1 ROM Revision: 3011 Displays: Display Connector: Status: No Display Connected EA261WM: Resolution: 1920 x 1200 @ 60 Hz Pixel Depth: 32-Bit Color (ARGB8888) Main Display: Yes Mirror: Off Online: Yes Rotation: Supported Television: Yes
