dual display

hi all,
does anyone know if its possible to link a 2007 imac to a 2017 imac to use as a dual display? if so, which leads/connectors will i have to get?

Unless I misread the specs it won't work. See here. It looks like neither iMac is in the range of machines that supported this feature.

Yep, the 2017 model iMacs do not support target mode. I believe Apple dropped target mode from its iMacs from 2015 on, although I might be off on that. Ah, ok, Slydude's link verifies that.
