downloading yosemite

i downloaded yosemite & now can't access iPhoto. mac says when i log-in that my account is locked & promises to email me but i never get that email. i think i need to download something to make iPhoto work with the new OS but can't seem to get past the locked out status???? any ideas?

more details: when i attempt to log in to get iPhoto for yosemite i'm told my acct is disabled for security reasons. to reset i click a link & get 2 options. 1. receive authentication via email (which never comes) or 2. answer security questions, which is to enter my birth date which i do & it says it's wrong - which it isn't!

Sounds like you may be having an Apple ID, Apple ID password, email, or all of the above issues. You may need to call Apple to get it straightened out.
