What is the best way to download videos from tube

YouTube videos are meant to be watched online and depending on the video, downloading them may be legally murky. Is there any particular reason for downloading the videos?

For reference. I fly remote control helicopters and their are lots of videos on utube showing how to set them up

Just because something is public doesn't mean you can make a copy of it.

And YouTube's copyright control would leave most content creators frustrated.

I'm not 100% certain, but I'm pretty sure that its illegal to download that. Again, I have no evidence, but I'm pretty certain that downloading anything from youtube CAN get you into trouble.
