Weird...whenever I get my pooter back from the repair shops...the battery would always feel very snug in the compartment for a short amount of time. It feels loose again now. I'm sure it's nothing to worry about....just wondering why it would get loose by itself... The case edge trim piece is also loose....wonder what's going on. Maybe I should just leave this thing on a table and not pick it up at all.

I've never dropped it or laid it down too hard...never. I am extremely careful with this machine. I have picked it up a couple of times with one hand gasping it at the corner of the lower case...but I think the case aught to be strong enough to sustain this type of stress.

The battery was loose before it went to the shop. After it came back it felt tight...now it feels loose again. It's not like the battery will fall out or anything...you can feel it loose and knocking.

The plastic edge trim piece is what worries me a bit... I'm not sure how the case is bolted together and hope the trim piece does not hold the case together....it feels looser every passing week.

when my powerbook is warm its tight but when it gets really cold and i havent been using it for a while it will feel lose. the case will expand and contract so they have to build for that. dont worry about it unless it just falls out one day then panic.
