Does it?? I am a newbie that is probably getting a mac notebook in july...I want a good file sharing program for music. thanks.:alien:

WOW! Two silly questions in the same day. ;)

The Answer is it is not coded to run in OS X if this is what you are talking about.

You would have to run one of those Windows versions on your new Mac. Search the forums for Parallels or Boot Camp.

I personally use no p2p filesharing software
however bearshare runs on the gnutella network
there are applications for os x which run on this network

what are you trying to download as p2p may not be the best source
if your looking for freeware try sites such as
tucows
download

I'm not sure what size is allowed but the mods will let you know if it's too big.

Saying file sharing is illegal is a bad statement. It depends on what you are sharing.

This site does not allow for discussion of exchanging other peoples property where you do not have permission. I think it would be fine to discuss using P2P networks for exchanging open source or freeware media. Things that the original distributor intended to have freely shareable.
