Do you think it's safe to buy an iMac?

The one thing i don't like about Apple is the fact you can never tell when an update to a particular range will come.

Having observed the latest powerbook/iBook speed bumps i'm wondering if the same could be on the cards for the iMac.

I don't think they've been revised since launch although someone correct me if i'm mistaken.
