Jamie, I'm a little ashamed. The iPad is totally noteworthy.
It's the next front on mobile computing, as has been predicted by industry analysts for over a decade (the shift to pads and cloud set up). Apple is again on the forefront.
I'm old school, too. But keep a little faith.
I never could understand how people involved in technology could hate any form of it some make work better for others but without competition do you fill in the _____ would
actually strive harder to get your money and interest in their product or would they do
like other products in life with no competition and remain dormant till sales drop off.
I concur. I may not like Windows products, but that doesn't mean I don't want to learn about the new updates, or see the competition.
On a side note, have you all ever seen anyone block out Windows info? It's all anti-Apple propaganda!
But I don't like the "cloud." I don't believe in the movement and don't feel like supporting it. Thus, I don't think that the thing is that great. Sure it's nice, but is it doing anything I care about? Nooooot really.
I wish that analysts had been predicting something that didn't suck
But the cloud doesn't have to suck... You can have a central home server that you access from the cloud. It doesn't have to be corporate run.
