Do I Trust My Computer again and again?

Four times this week, my Apple Watch asked me if I trust my computer, one of which times I wasn't even near my iMac.

I always say yes, and sometimes have to put in my code.

How do I convince my watch I really mean it?

I have had several Apple watches and MacBooks. I have never had my watch ask me if I trusted any of my Macs unless I was accessing my apple account.

My first thoughts: Do you have the same Apple ID on both your watch and iMac? If yes, then on your iMac go to https://appleid.apple.com and log into your account - you will be requested to put in a code that will pop up on one of your trusted devices. (If it pops on your iMac it is trusted!) But to be sure - scroll down to devices and click on it. Your iMac should be listed and you can click on it to see if it is listed as a trusted device.

Next Idea - are all your devices up to date?

I did google the issue and while you are not alone, no one has offered a solution.

It's funny, when I go to that web page I have to do 2-factor authentication with the code displaying on the same Mac that I have to copy it from (as you said). That happens periodically with Apple web pages.

All of my devices show up on that page under "devices".

All of my operating systems are up to date.

I googled the issue too, before posting here.

Go into Settings > Touch ID & Password, and make sure your Apple Watch is enabled.

The next thing I would try would be to unpair the Watch, then re-pair the Watch and see if that fixes the issue.

I think it may be more to do with your iPhone. Your watch is paired to your iPhone and while I have never had my watch ask me if I trusted my computer I have had my MBP and iPhone ask that question of each other but only when they were connected by cable. I don't have a wireless connection enabled, that has caused all sorts of issues in the past.
