I've been using Diswarrior on my imac, but now on my emac, I have the OS 10.3.8 and Alsoft doesn't look like to have a version that will boot my emac with this OS. So, somebody have a software to suggest or onyx and maintenance can do the same job as Diskwarrior?
Thanks

If you are just looking for a maintenance type program (i.e. clean caches, repair permissions etc) then any of those will work. You could also have a look at Xupport, Panther Cache Cleaner and Cocktail.

does not matter what os you have. there is a system folder on diskwarrior cd (its hidden) and it boots from there. i have 10.3.8 on my emac and DW 302 boots fine.
but for some unknown reasons fails to boot the first gen eMac700.
disk warrior is not a maintenance program. it keeps track of HD functioning and directory (a special place on the HD reserved by OS to keep track of files and processes on your drive, more or less) and rebuilds it (directory) if necessary.
if you're looking for a maintenance try those rberry88 suggested.

I'm looking for something like diswarrior... so you said that you don't have problems with it? I have the boot disk version 3 and I downloaded the patch for the OS 10.3 and it don't!!!! you have a solution?

i've never used **** warrior, but i just used onyx the other day and like it a lot. It's nice. That's all i can really say. It's an easy program to kill, if you just want to try it out first.

use onyx or a similar app for maintenance. I see many people thinking disk warrior is a maintenance app, but it can screw up your mac to the point it will never boot again if you use it as a maintenance app. disk warrior is a tool for repairing your OS, and should only be used in a situation, for example a power outage, where after you are missing files on your mac, disk warrior rebuilds your os and puts all the files where they go. I see so many people using disk warrior as a maintenance app, I've stopped recommending anyone buy it, cause a short while later, I get a call like : my mac won't startup, why not?
there are other maintenance apps, cocktail is really good, and is good as onyx is, it is not for beginners.
