I am accustomed to seeing image files displayed as thumbnails in folders. How can I do that on mac? At the moment I have some files which are full of jpg.s but the only way I can see what each look like is to open them one by one. I would prefer that they all appear as small images within the folder.
Thank you!

Q: Is there a "thumbnail" view in finder?
A: When in icon view, right click inside the window and choose "Show View Options". Click the box marked "Show icon preview". Remember to choose whether you want it to be for this window only or for all windows.

But he's asking about showing the thumbnail inside a folder not in finder. I don't think it works in folders. If you have a gif for example on the desktop it shows as a thumbnail. If you drag it into a folder it doesn't show as a thumbnail any longer inside the folder.
