I just stumbled across this article detailing a way to change the system font in Yosemite from HelveticaNeue to San Francisco. The latter is a new font that Apple developed specifically for the Apple Watch. I'd normally be loathe to link to anything from Gizmodo, but they have some good screen caps of the difference. I just applied the change and it does indeed look MUCH MUCH MUCH better! The only anomaly I've encountered is that the username in the top right of my screen for the user switching menu is offset a bit low. I think I can live with it. Here's Gizmodo's article: Trust Us, Change Your Yosemite Font From Helvetica to San Francisco Here's the original source for the tip on GitHub: https://github.com/wellsriley/YosemiteSanFranciscoFont I used the "Easy Install" option. What you do is run a command in Terminal and follow the prompts. That command is posted below. There are other links in the GitHub site that point to other projects to do the same thing using other font families.
