Disk Error (formerly "World of Warcraft")

I have a mac and world of warcraft says the trone mpq file is corrupted so i go to disk ullity and I go to verifydisk came up with a bunch of errors and it says this disk needs to be repaired please press disk repair and it wont let me its gray. so how to i restore a mac without the disk

Quite simply, you'll need an OS X disc to startup from the disc and run Disk Utility without being booted from the hard drive. You'll also want to run some diagnostics on the HDD to see if it's headed south. Phone Apple and get to the parts department, you should be able to get a set of replacement discs for about $20 (according to others we've heard from here). Another alternative might be to purchase 10.6 which runs $29 (assuming you have an Intel Mac).
