I have a friend with a MacBook Pro that boots straight to Windows XP.
As soon as he boots, the internal wireless lan finds a network (not his, he doesn't have one) and connects.
Is there a way to disable the wireless feature?
I'm a PC guy and normally you could do this on a PC by accessing the BIOS during boot and changing the settings.
This doesn't seem possible with a MacBook Pro.
I can disable the wireless feature in XP once it's up, but on reboot it's there again.
Can someone please help me out to permanently disable it?

In XP if I wanted a network interface not to come up what I always did is go right to the driver for that Network card and select Disable. I will get back to you with the exact location and what to do after dinner. Then it should not ever come up again unless you enable that network card, in this case the WiFi card. If I remember right you go to networks, Show Network devices then select the Airport Express card.
