I'm trying to squeeze out a little more speed from Panther and my old G4, and as such was wondering if there are any third-party apps that can disable live window dragging. In other words, I'd like dragging and resizing in OSX to behave how it does in 9.x, where you only see a window outline until you've actually released the side/corner.

Well, here's to hoping someone is able to code an addition to X that'll allow disabling live window updates.
