Digital Soundboard

Hello,

I record my podcast using Skype, Soundflower, Linein, and Garageband. We all talk over Skype, with Linein and Soundflower getting everything sent to Garageband where I record on one track.

I'm looking to do sound effects. I'm thinking digital soundboard would work best. My goal is that my co-hosts and listeners can all hear it. Does anyone have any suggestions on software for this? Preference for free software but I'll pay if I have to. I don't need it for much I just want to put some silly sound effects on it.

Any suggestions on how to accomplish this?
