I inadvertantly Trashed my Dictionary application. Can I get it back or can it be downloaded from somewhere? Thanks.

No, not the Dictionary as a Widget in Dashboard. It looks the same and uses the Oxford dictionary, etc., but it was an App that came along with my iMac. Also, it had more features than the Widget one.

You can get it back on the install disc using Pacifist...

Or if you'd like, I can zip mine and email it to you (in about 5 hrs, I can't do it right now.)

Will do... PM me your email address, I will ZIP and email you the Dictionary App within 3 hrs.

You are running OS X (10.4.7 or higher) right?

I didn't even realize there was a dictionary app. I've been using Dictionary.com or my good ol' fashioned Meriam Webster's dictionary when I look up a word. My Mac surprises me every day, I swear.

99,
You can highlight any word, then right+Click... then select "Look-up in Dictionary"... pretty useful IMO

:D
