Hi everyone,

I'm running OS 10.6.8 on my mac pro tower.

I'd like to delete some of the print presets that I've made in the initial dialog box that comes up when I hit 'command P' ( see attached photo for reference ). There appears to be no way to delete a print preset within that initial dialog box. When I hit the 'printer' button and that dialog box comes up, there IS an option to delete print presets. How do I delete print presets in the initial print dialog box?

Thanks.

Dennis

An old thread from the Apple Discussions Forums explains where the presets are located. You can delete from there although it appears you may have to delete all of them.

solved

After some thinking about it and trying various things, I came up with the solution which is pretty simple. The initial dialog box was Adobe InDesign print presets, since that is the software I was working with.
So I just had to click on File----->Print Presets---->Define and the Print Presets dialog box popped up which offered options to delete and edit the presets.

Sometimes we overlook the obvious. Been there, done that. :)

Thanks for posting back with your solution.
