Here's my problem:

My dashboard unexpectedly opens up, I'm not sure if that's because I hit enter. How can I solve this problem?

Well, firstly check your expose settings - if you've got it set to a hot corner that could be causing it when you flick the cursor about, and while you're there check the keyboard shortcut and that you're not hitting it - or change it to something else.

If none of that works I'm stumped.

Okay, next poser. Friends have very recently acquired a Macbook, with 10.5.4, and an Apple wireless mouse. They are getting mightily watered off when each time the scroll ball is pressed, Dashboard appears. Okay, it's easy enough to send it packing, but they don't want to have to do that. How can it be stopped? There are no Preferences as such, I'm told.
