Here in SW Florida, all i would get from AT&T for my home is tv. No land line, & no internet. I'll have to stay with Frontier Fios, and keep their package deal. Total bummer!!:mad:

We also have Frontier FIOS which for the most part is an overpriced shadow of the true FIOS when Verizon offered it in our area. Frontier has cut services such as the free Music and Bloomberg channels in order to save money. In case you are not aware, Frontier has been in and out of Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

Fortunately we have other providers in our area. I will likely disconnect from Frontier in January and instead subscribe to Spectrum. I'm not exactly thrilled with Spectrum either but they're better than Frontier.

And by the way, we moved your post to the off topic area.

I feel your pain. I had Frontier but it was so bad. All they offer is ADSL and the speeds are horrid. They offer phone service but it has so much static it is unusable. Spectrum? Not available. I can get satellite or use a hotspot. Since 5G is in my area I have a T-Mobile hotspot that works great but I can only get 100GB per month which means no Netflix's - and it comes free with my service.

Theoretically T-Mobile is working to supply 5G internet for my area with a router and everything!!! We shall see. I do believe it will be available before Spectrum runs fiber optic cable down my road - not enough potential users.

Spectrum is not available south of Tampa, and i'm well south of there. My solution will probably be to get Dish Network just for the tv, and keep Frontier for the phone & internet. Also thinking about getting my own router, maybe Netgear.

Be sure you check out Dish. They recently stated they were increasing prices this coming January.
