- iMac 27"late 2013, 3.2 GHz i5, 8 GB Memory, 1 TB SATA Disk, Catalina
I have had this issue from start when I switched to iMac from Windows. I have Cox as internet provider. I receive emails immediately to iPhone and iPad and used to get them instantly to my old Windows machine. On iMac there is a delay of 30 min to 2 hours.
If I Quit mail and reopen it, it receives all new mail then. When clicking the Receive New Mail icon nothing happens. I have the mail setup using Macs auto setup on all devices. I have it on Mail Preferences: Check for messages every minute.
IMAP Hostname: imap.cox.net
IMAP Path Prefix: none
Port 993 Use SSL
Yosemite 10.10.2
