Is it possible to copy photos in e-mail to iPhoto/Preview without a program such as Evernote? If so, how? Thanks in advance. Betty

Your Mac's Specs
2011 Mac mini and 2010 13" MacBook Pro, iPhone 4 and iPad
If you you're in Apple Mail you have an option to save attachments and if you click that save button on the email it will pop down and let you have an option to add to iPhoto.

That does it perfectly, L. Thank you. I typically use Firefox and sometimes Safari and hadn't really explored iCloud well. You gave me an idea, and I checked my iPhone and found the Save Image option on the Reply menu. (How many times have I seen the words Save Image with my eyes without actually seeing them with my mind!) But sure enough I can save e-mail pictures to Photos and then sync them to my Mac.
