copy files from one user area to another?

hi. just wondered if there was a way to copy from one user area to another. for example, I have all my music in my itunes, but as i have just got a new i pod my bloke wants his user area to have his seection of music in his itunes. But i have alot of music in my itunes that he wants. I have put all this music into a seperate folder which is ready to move across, but I dont know how to do it, or even if i can....could someone solve this mystery for me? ta

You could just enable iTunes sharing on your copy, then switch to your bloke's area and start up iTunes there. Your playlist should appear in his sidebar, and he can play direct from there. I'm not sure if copying across is allowed (should be, I think, but I've never done it).
