hi there

i still got a windows computer (win98SE) and i want to switch to the G5 in about 3month.

but now, i need a new HD on windows, and i want to buy a S-ATA 160gb for just 180Fr (swissmoney).

how do i have to formate this HDD to use it in windows 98 SE (don't know the space limit) and after, i want to use it in my G5 without formating, just convert, that i still have my data on it.

any ideas???

is it posible to convert a FAT32 filesystem to a macOsX filesystem??

You can not switch File Systems without reformatting the drive so you can not save everything

ut,it is possible to read the FAT32, copy the content (about 70-80gb) to the g5 HDD, and then formate the FAT32 to HFS+ (or what is the best??)

can a mac read the FAT32 filetable??

or is there a variant that can booth read??
e.g. UFS, is there a UFS reader/writer for win98SE???
