As soon as I add a new Group to Contacts and go from the Group back to Contacts the Group usually disappears. Sometimes I can go back and forth adding names and all is well until I go from the Group back to Contacts and it the Group again disappears. Along with this often times name in my contacts disappear. I do have a backup of the contacts which I can get from my email. I am using 10.9.5.
