I have a 20" early 2008 iMac and an HD TV.

Is there any way to connect the output of the iMac to the TV please?

There is a small port on the back of the iMac - is that a Mini Display Port?

Also, I have a 2008 MacMini. Can that be connected to the TV, preferably with the same cable - although of course that would be too easy :)

Edit - Seems it might be a Mini-DVI port. No sign of a cable to connect that to HDMI :(

The port on your 20" early 2008 iMac is a Mini DVI not a Mini Display Port. Your Mac Mini has a DVI port which is not the same as the Mini DVI on the iMac.

Note: The iMac and the Mini will require different adapters and cables. Take a look at our Sticky Post in the "Other Hardware Forum".
