"Completer" message.

When I start up my iMac I get a message
"Completer wants to make changes. Type your password to allow this."
and an installer icon shows up on my desktop.
I click cancel and move icon to trash. This is getting tiresome. Any idea what Completer is and how I can stop it.

It looks its part of Genio which is a adware/malware..
