Classic doesnt "see" whats been saved in X

iMac G4 700mhz 10.3.9 & 2.4ghz 1.5 gb 10.4.8
I'm running 9.2 instead of X, but the problem i'm coming across is that i cant see any of the documents or pictures thats been saved while using X? any help me out

G4 AGP 400 MHz 1.34gb RAM
When your system does not "see" usually means that you don't have the software to read that file.
