I have an imac and I use google chrome as my browser, recently Ive started having an issue with Popup pages. When I click on a page it loads and then if I click a link a new tab loads and its advertising. I cannot figure out how to stop this. I have popups blocked. Ive set preferences in google chrome to stop so this obviously come sort of malware. How can I get rid of it? I've tried un-installing chrome and reinstalling but it makes no difference. If anyone knows a fix I'd love to know.

You can't stop it - at least not right now with the current version of Chrome. Some pop-ups can be suppressed but there are others that will still show up. Quit using Chrome until they go live with their 64 bit version that's currently in beta. Use Safari instead with Ad Block Plus.
