No, the only way is to power cycle your modem to see if it can get a new IP address

White MacBook. Keeping it simple these days.
If you've got a broadband connection using DHCP there are a couple of ways you might get a new ip. 1. Either disconnect from your cable modem or unplug it for 24 hours. This way you miss the renew period and could possibly get a new ip. Your ip address is associated with your mac address and by missing the renewal it should be released back into the pool of available ip's for you to acquire. 2. Either use a router or a different network card. By changing your mac address you should get a new ip after powercycling your modem. None of these methods are guarenteed by any means but have been known to work. Let me know if you have any more questions. Good Luck!
