Change the name of the mini

I would like to know how to change the name of the mini itself. For example, when you log into the terminal it will read "blah-blahs-mac-mini:~username"

I am wondering if the "blah-blahs-mac-mini" part will change or does the computer need to be re-registered?

Apple Menu > System Prefrences > Sharing. You will see the box at the top. And no doing this will not cause the mac to need registering again.
