What kind of demand would I get if I put my CD's up for sale? I am about this close -> <- to completely changing the music that I listen to.. so I was thinking of selling my current CD's that way I can purchase this other genre.. Say for $10 each the same price as Apple's store, but you get everything, jewel case, cover art, etc etc.. I have over 200, I think closer to 300 CD's. Shipping to the contiguous US would be included in that $10.. I think.. I would have to get some prices on that :)

Thoughts?

What genre are you converting too? Are you sure you'll never wanna listen to your old CD's again?

What are you trying to sell. Post the list...

I myself am into Christian Music. I still listen to some other genres, but really enjoy my christian cds. I recommend Jars of Clay and Praise and Worship 2003. :D

Yeah I love Jars of Clay.. ever since I heard "Flood" I have really been into them. Ill have to look into the Praise and Worship 2003 one. Currently selling the CD's have almost paid for my iPod and then after that going to use the rest of the money to buy those CD's!

Assuming they are in good condition and you've still got Candlebox ($4), Eve 6 ($8) and Better Than Ezra ($8), I'll take them. Postal money order ok by you?

Congrats on the change...positive stuff in, positive stuff out. I made the switch in 87...so all of my former music was just tapes. Kind of useless. It still amazes me how songs are so much like programing and control the way we think. Most people just don't understand how secular music conditions and desenitizes (sp?) them.

Anyway...just thought I would give you a thumbs up and the committment to dump the old self!

Thanks! yeah it's been a long struggle.. I thought about doing it many years ago and it has taken me this long to finally decide that indeed I wanted to change my music.

And even some of the christian music.. Im not too sure about it either! But most of it.. like you said.. positive in, positive out.. great way of putting it :)

Cheers!
