Well, a warm welcome to the forum! Your question is SO broad that a few suggestions may not meet your needs? First tell us whether you even own a computer and/or a CD collection - many options there despite you not wanting to apparently use a computer.

Also google 'how to get music on an iDevice without a computer' for numerous suggestions - music can be purchased via the Apple music store, Amazon, Prestomusic, and many other online services offering music - assume these purchases can be downloaded to your iDevices - give us some more specifics please. Thanks for the welcome! I have about two dozen CDs that I would like to go straight to my device without using a computer.

Easiest way, Get yourself a Free Spotify account, download the App and search for your albums. If you are willing to pay the monthly Subscription you can download the Albums to your iPhone otherwise you will need WiFi to play them but they will remain in your Playlist either way.

You can also add your iTunes/Music library to it so all your music is in one app.
I use it exclusively now because the subscription is the same as Apple's Music Store.

Any other way I know of requires a Mac and a built in or external CD/DVD player/burner to add them to your Apple Music app then Sync them to your iPhone via USB cable.
