I installed a Pioneer DVR-A107 in my Gigabit Ethernet. All works perfectly. I can burn all media fine in toast and Disk util. The problem I am having is when I hold C I cant seem to boot from a CD now. I have the original hard drive in on the main header alone. I have a 2nd hard drive as master on the 2nd IDE header and the DVD-R as slave off it.

I haven't tried this myself but maybe it will help you. According to a recent MacAddict issue: on the mirriored-door drives and newer models set the jumpers to cable-select and the computer sorts things out.

That seemed to have done it. I am now going to image this 20GB hard drive and toss in a 120GB as the boot drive. Its a pain having two drives when you install stuff. I notice a few apps wont install to a data drive if OSX isnt on it.
