I can't find much information about it. Here is what TidBits has to say:

Tidbits said:
The macOS 10.15.4 Catalina update weighs in at 2.97 GB via Software Update, or you can download the 4.73 GB combo update.

Its primary new feature is the ecosystem support for iCloud Drive Folder Sharing, and there are a few other helpful changes.
On the downside, 10.15.4’s release notes say nothing about resolving the data loss bugs in Mail (“Beware Mail Data Loss in Catalina,” 11 October 2019).

That’s not to say that Apple didn’t fix those bugs, but we’ll have to wait for the community to test.

For myself, the DLs were taking an inordinate amount of time from past experience, so checked my DL speed (Spectrum cable - usually 50-60 Mbps in room next to router) which was < 5 Mbps, returned back to the usual speed in an hour w/ much better results - apparently, the power went out near us (we never lost power) and must have affected my cable! Dave :)

With the increase of "work from home" folks using the internet, it's reasonable to assume that most servers are busier than usual. I know my speeds have been down somewhat.

@RadDave Thanks for that note about the update for the Apple TV 3. There hasn't been one for it in a while. I'll get to it as soon as I can did my way to it.

I'm hearing a smattering of complaints that "macOS 10.5.4 breaks Microsoft Word."

Anyone else experiencing this?

Not here. MS Word (Office 365 version 16.35) is working fine for me.

Did any of the complaints state specifically what was broken or not working in MS Word? And what version(s) are they using?

Just doing a TM and CCC backup and then I'll check out the update servers here in Aust. I'm using MS Office for macOS Word 16.16.20 rather than 365 so it would be nice to hear some feedback on that.

Okay after a quick check what I am seeing are older posts regarding initial upgrade to Catalina last year where earlier 32bit versions of MS Word were naturally incompatible.
The most recent from the Microsoft Community states the same issue but resolved with an update from MS and Disk Utility. See;
Word Does Not Work After Catalina update - Microsoft Community
This of course does not mean there is not a problem now just nothing in relation to the current update as yet.

I have no specifics whatsoever. That's why I asked folks here. Various news outlets and large discussion forums have mentioned that the macOS 10.15.4 update breaks Word in passing.

I can also add that my wife's MBP 2018 has now been updated and her 2016 version of MS Word works fine as well.
