cassette adapter

Hi. i recently bought a cassette adapter so I could use my Ipod in the car. it works fine, excwpt occassionally i get some weird sounds, like electronic humming or buzz. I don't think its the ipod. does anybody have any experience with these cassette adapters.

I've used several different cassette adapters but never had that problem. It could be a fault, so first try playing a normal tape in your car sound system to make sure it's not the cassette player itself. If you don't get the noise then take it back to where you got it and ask for a replacement.

Thanks. My main concern is that its not my ipod.? One time I did unplug the adapter from the ipod when I heard the "noise" . The noise continued for a second after It was unplugged. Also i don't recall ever hearing any noise using the headphones.

I use a cassette adapter in my truck. That hum you are hearing is just from the cassette adapter itself. There is no cause for alarm as the same things you decribe happen to me. My iPod is no worse off from doing it either.
