Hi,

I don't know if this is the right forum to post my question, and if it isn't please tell me where to post my question.

I'm trying to make a Cartesian plane on numbers and I can't work out how to do it. First I want to make a blank Cartesian plane as a model of what one is, then I would like to make one with a number of points/coordinates on it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as this has been getting me into an anti-computer rage all afternoon.

Thanks.

I don't use numbers, but in Excel there is a menu for graphs/charts (depends on your version). What search terms have you tried in Numbers Help?

Unfortunately there is not template for a classic cartesian plane, although there is a ready made template for a line graph.

By cartesian plane I mean this: Cartesian coordinate system - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

i.e. two number lines that intersect at zero and extend both ways into positive and negative numbers.

I found a demo video for how to do it on windows excel, but could not turn up anything on how to do it with apple numbers.

Any help would be appreciated!
