The Samsung 850 evo didn’t work well at all with it (took me three days to clone 92gb of data over usb 3) I then got a Sabrent 2.5-Inch SATA to USB 3.0 enclosure with UASP from Amazon. I’m getting 450 read and 400 write straight out of the box.The original enclosure would take six to eight minutes to boot and Mac OS was practically unusable, the UASP enclosure took thirty seconds to boot and is rapid in use. Looking back I think the main issue was the 850 evo not being compatible with non UASP enclosures or just that specific enclosure but I’d definitely recommend a UASP enclosure for the 850 evo, Mac OS X never felt better ?</blockquote>
