Interesting. I have not updated to 10.15.4 yet so I looked and I do not have /data/private/var/dB/lockdown under /system/volumes. Must be something from the update.

His path leaves out the capital letters. It's actually "/system/Volumes/Data/private/var/db/lockdown" and CCC has not complained to me about it. I'm on 10.15.4.

It's there. Use the path I showed. The capitalization is significant in macOS.

I don’t show it at all and I have unhidden all files and folders. Caps, no caps shows nothing. It might show up when I update to 10.15.4. I am backing up now so I will let you know!

Has CCC been enabled in System Preferences > Privacy & Security > Privacy tab > Full Disk Access?

I have it on my system and am running Catalina 10.15.4:

/System/Volumes/Data/private/var/db/lockdown

The "lockdown" folder is a protected system folder and can not ordinarily be opened and viewed. You can probably gain access to it as a "Root" user but I see no reason to do so.

I find it strange that CCC gave you that message. I do daily backups with CCC to two different external SSDs and have never seen that message.

Finder may be blocked from the file. I found it using Terminal. I used cd to move to / then down through the folders one level at a time until I got to the /System/Volumes/Data/private/var/db folder, then used ls to see that lockdown was in that folder. So, it's there. But as Charlie said, CCC is not having any problems with that file for me, either. Is your CCC at the most recent update, 5.1.15?

I do not like to have automatic update

Why not? CCC will not automatically download and install the backup even if you have updates turned on. It will always ask for your permission first. Many other apps work the same way. Even Apple will not install System updates without your permission. Maybe time to change?
