Ok. Here's the full problem. Do you have any suggestions? When I tried to do a sudo command, Terminal asked for my password. I was confused about it not showing what I was typing. (Now, I know now that it was typing my password, just with an invisibility cloak.) I'm not sure what exactly i did but i got frustrated and closed the window. Since I restarted terminal (and my computer) i haven't been able to type in it at all. I was able to run a simple command in Terminal from textwrangler, but it logs out when it finished running it. This is what it showed: Last login: Sat May 18 18:46:41 on ttys000 /var/folders/Il/IlsW9YeOHXqHfX6wKgej8++++TI/-Tmp-/Cleanup\ At\ Startup/firstprog-390661984.204.py.command ; exit; Users-MacBook-Pro:~ User$ /var/folders/Il/IlsW9YeOHXqHfX6wKgej8++++TI/-Tmp-/Cleanup\ At\ Startup/firstprog-390661984.204.py.command ; exit; Hello World logout [Process completed] I've checked some webforums and nothing has worked so far. In the com.apple.Terminal.plist file in Library/Preferences: <key>CommandString</key> <string></string> There's also a <key>shellExitAction</key> command that I thought about deleting, but I was worried that would make things worse. Any ideas or suggestions?
