Can someone help please. This morning I updated something from the App Store but can't remember what. Since then, whenever I want to move a file from a folder, the file stays there and the thing I move is an alias. Is there a way to stop this please?

The only way round the problem is to move the file to the trash, then retrieve it.

Thanks in advance,

Vic

To identify the app that you updated launch the App Store program and make sure you are logged into your account. If you click on the Updates tab it will show recently applied updates in the order they were applied. The most recent one will be at the top of the list.

Once the app has been identified perhaps we can get at what's causing the problem.
