Can't shutdown Sawtooth G4

So I found a decent G4 system for not much money. Specs:

Sawtooth G4
450MHz
1GB RAM
37GB HD + 40GBHD
SCSI PCI card
ATI Radeon Rage 128 Pro
OS 9.2.2 + OS 10.3.4

So my problem is that when I start the shutdown process, the mac will shutdown (the power light turns off and I hear the HD's shutoff) but half a second later the power light turns back on and it restarts. Any ideas short of reformatting and starting all over?

I'm sorry if this is a stupid question. I'm new to the Mac scene. =)

Thanks in advance!

I had a similar problem with a Sawtooth with SCSi card.

Remove the SCSI card and try it again, I guess that should solve the problem.

Is the problem specific to one OS or does occur when you shut down from either one? Are there any error or warning messages?
