Can't boot from CD-R!!!

This is nuts! I am trying to install YDL (YellowDog) but I hold down the C button and it just boots from Mac OS X. I change the OpenFirware boot-device: setenv boot-device cd:0 and I tryed to change it in the Startup Disk preference pane. But it doens't even come up! please please help me

Did you burn YDL as a bootable disc?
