When I read the other threads, I beleive, its possible, But like to get it clarified with the experts.

Iam planing to upgrade my Macbook Pro with and Extra 8GB.

I currently have 2x4GB.

Will Crucial 8GB, 204-pin SODIMM, DDR3 PC3-12800 Memory Module - 8 GB - DDR3 SDRAM - 1600 MHz be good for one slot and existing 4GB on the other?

We don't know if this is possible…because you have not told us the exact model MacBook Pro you have. It may or may not be able to address a total of 12gig of ram.
