Guys and gals,

I'm not sure this is even in the right section. but here's my questions. A buddy of mine made me a DVD copy of a VHS tape we had of some motorcycle riding we had done. The only problem is he made it a read only. Is there any way to "unprotect" it and rip it so I can cut and edit in iMovie? I have Handbrake to rip but it won't do it because it's "read only". Thanks for any help!

I guess I didn't explain it well enough. He made a DVD from a VHS video for me. I want to in turn take that DVD and edit it in iMovie (cut it up, etc.). Is there any way to do that?
