Can I delete iTunes library genius.itdb file?

Is this file necessary for using iTunes/Apple Music? My Mac identified this file (52.7MB) as being a "large" file and I would like to get rid of it. I'ver never used genius, but was wondering if somehow it is essential for the smooth running of Music. The file shows that is was last accessed June 15, 2020.

52 MB is a "tiny" file by today's standards. I don't know if you can safely delete it or not, but it's not "large" at all. I'd leave it alone.

When you say Apple Music, are you referring to the Apple Music streaming service, or the macOS Music app?
