I have a version of Runkeeper on my iPhone 4S that Runkeeper stopped supporting in 2011 and since 2013 it no longer connected to their servers. None the lest I have data (maps) I would like to save. Is there any way to accomplish this?

Usually the data saved by apps is in a form only familiar with the apps themselves. So while you may save the data by making a backup of the phone, you can't really decipher what it is and how you could possible use it elsewhere or within a newer app..

Now, if you upgrade Runkeeper to the newest version it should upgrade its data to the newer apps format and update it to the server, no?

Any reason you haven't upgraded the app?
