Can connect to server2012 share but no files

Having an issue with connecting to a server 2012 share folder... can connect to server, however the files do not show up

When you are connecting are you inputting a user name and password that has permission to see the files? If your mac is not "joined" to the domain you will have to input a user name and password.

There should be a button in the upper right corner of the window that opens when you click on the name of the server, that says "connect as". That should open a window that asks for the user name and password. As long as the user has permission files should now be visible.
