I posted these three threads in another forum but no one has replied.

Thread 1:I went to check my pop gmail using apple mail and I got a pop window asking for my password for my gmail server. when I enter my password I get an error message that states "keychain login cannot be found to store "username". What does this even mean? And get this: I can go to gmail.com using firefox and even IE on my PC but when I try using Safari I get all this

Safari can’t open the page “https://www.google.com/accounts/Ser...nue=http://mail.google.com/mail?ui=html&zy=l”. The error was: “lost network connection” (NSURLErrorDomain:-1005) Please choose Report Bug to Apple from the Safari menu, note the error number, and describe what you did before you saw this message.

But only using Safari. What's going on?

Thread 2:I was able to get on gmail.com using safari finally and I re-did my account with apple mail but now when ever I launch the program and choose "get mail" it forces me to put in my password even though I check the box to remember it my my keychain. What are these keychains anyway. Please help. Thanks

Thread 3:One more thing. Now my gmailstatus program in my menu bar doesn't work. It won't check my mail and just stays as an "X". I've never had an email problem and I've been using apple mail and gmail for months. Any ideas at all? I still think it's a keychain problem whatever keychains are.

Can anyone help me? Thanks
