He said he could ship it through his business, I guess he has some sort of discount as a small business owner, and he found a 15" LCD that was lying around so he said he would give me that instead. It's really cheap though, only 15" again, 1024X768 resolution, and it's a compaq. I didn't ask questions about shipping, he said he would find out if it works at home and then contact me. and I already tried spending money on a potentially non-working computer, and I was lucky to even resell it for parts, let alone break even. I'm not sure myself, but if he is willing to ship it to me at no cost to me, the worst I would have to do if it doesn't work is ship it back, and I can afford that if I am not paying for the computer, or we could also meet up again. The guy seemed nice enough, who would offer to do this if they were trying to scam me, most likely they would try and find someone else rather than go through the hassle of shipping it. We'll see if I get a reply tonight like he said he would do, that will clear a few things up. I'm not sure what to expect now though, but as long as I do not have to trust the guy's word and pay without trying it out myself then I am fine with it.
